I like the jet dynamics grate/plate combo; great for handling, I'm not sure about stabs/rolls; the JD rideplate might be a liability there.
Free mod: there are two threaded holes for your steering cable on the turnplate. There's a 3rd unthreaded hole. Tap it, move over the balljoint and adjust the cable so straight bars = ski going straight. I find I can fall a little less with more steering throw.
.
Be careful with that steering mod. I broke a steering cable that way. When my steering was at full lock to the right (right hand foreward) the cable was binding just a little. I thought it would be fine, did a big stab and came down with a lot of pressure on the right grip and snaped the steering cable at the little balljoind lock thingy.
I also did the steering nozel mod, drill a hole closer to the nozzel and drill and tap it. Then clearance the rear of the nozzel as needed.
The ski is a little easier to ride with quicker steering. I need to do this mod to my superjet nozel.
I hvae not spent more than 5 min on a super jet, but I have heard that the FX lands much easier.
