What pitch impellar are you running?

I had my pump out today to look for a cooling clog and finally found out what pitch my imp. was... the guy i bought it from couldnt remember.

Its a solas 19-25, the old K series. Is this a freestyle or racing prop??

thanks

any recommendations if I would think about switching?

No Square..No Round..FX-1
Hey..currently 18/24. Tried 17/23, 19/25, 20/26. The pump design would probally
be better suited for a modded 440-550. Having the FX prop set-back is almost manditory if you ride in the surf.:cheer:

When I got my FX1 a couple of years ago I did alot of research and
talked to alot of people. The prop that was recomended the most was
the Skat Trak 19/24 slim line for some reason the design of the Skat prop
works beter with the small pump. I run this prop and it is much better than
stock and better than a solas prop (dont know what pitch )I tried.
Anyway I like the Skat even though the pump sucks. I also think its
the prop that Impros recomends.

I did a lot of testing with these and found the solas prop performed worse than the stock one. If you have a pipe etc the one to go for is a Skat 19/24.

get a wswirl or a concord and cut them down to fit
you then have the new technology in the old pump
you may need to fix the leading edge slightly
but shoudl work well
and the hub is a better match to the hub in the pump as well
so you pick up efficency that way

Has this been done before??

Sounds like a good idea but till you buy the imp and get it all machined up you could be looking at some serious $$ no?
