All backflipping (and double backflipping sick sick sick mofo's) dirtbike riders are on 2 strokes, correct?

I have never ridden a 4 stroke 2 wheeler but I can't imagine anything better than my RM's and CR's back in the day.

true that. i think twitch is/has been on a 4 stroke recently? dont really follow fmx though.

thats pretty funny. i couldn't give a rats ass about ski racing, but i couldnt give a crap just as much about fmx.

i think real motocross is about the most hardcore thing on earth. personally, i think holding the throttle pinned WFO in 5th gear for 30+2 takes more balls than 1,000,000 backflips strung together back to back. :eek5:

Ive never seen any racer do that... NONE. you must really be something special. I bet you could show RC whats up.

better start imagining, once you ride a four stroke on a track you will never want to go back. around me four strokes rule the woods, my 250f in the tight trails is the easiest bike in the world to ride. its not that they are faster, but you dont have to be as precise all the time, if you lose momentum (which is the biggest part of mx) its alot easier to recover a 4 stroker

Some TV thing I was watching said that MX riders are amoungts the top atheletes in the world. Professional MX riders are on par with olympic runners and etc when it comes to hearts strenght/health etc. MX is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world.

motocross and mountain biking are the two physically most demanding sports i've tried so far personally.

i'll try to find/post some of the motocross guys workout videos.. its pretty sick how hard they train to be able to hang on to their bikes long enough to finish a race.

Also, for those who are not familiar with mx (forget sx) races, mx races are two motos in one day. each moto is first a full 30 minutes, and then 2 laps on top of that.. hence you hear people say "30 + 2" try to imagine that for a second! grueling. on the practice track, i can personally do about 3, maybe 4 WFO laps, then maybe 3-4 laps at mid-pace before i have to pull off the track. the physical condition these guys are in is no joke at all.

mx is no joke!!!!!

its like yamaha says.. "theres no such thing as a little committed".. nice..

no one cares about land couches, it must be nice for those guys to ride recliners around all day...

funny aint it.. these guys wouldnt be caught dead on a seadoo gtx, but theyd ride quads all day.. haha..

i got one of those silly smoky bikes in the garage right now.. pos.. :)

when i rode 50s i could smoke quads on the trails.
funny to think but the little bike had a huge advantage over the land couches.
hahaha

Funny, I love it when 2 wheel guys pi$$ on quads. What a bunch of tough guys. Ricky Carmicheal is the GOAT. He has the fastest recorded lap at Budds Creek (at least he did up until two years ago). Before he retired due to injury, Jeremiah Jones, a pro ATV guy, had a lap 2 seconds off of Carmicheal's BEST. Besides, lets see you bike guys strap 150 lbs to your bikes and jump the same jumps.

I will admit, I won't ride a bike or quad anymore. Too worried I would break something and keep me off of my skis. I just don't see the joy in talkin $hit to someone who doesn't ride a certain bike/quad/ski, etc.
