finally got my bike going

i brought a 03 wr250 about 4 mounths agao with the motor in bits cheap . it needed a new cylinder and valves so as with any build i got a wee bit carried away :Banane35: so in the end here is what i ended up with motor wise
brand new crank , new clutch , gear box sent away and tidyed up and the dogs all under cut for better engagement, athena 290cc kit ,ported head, 3 angle cut valve seats , stainless valves , heavey duty valve springs ,hot cams stage 1. and finally a white bros alli pro slip on .
i cant ride it yet since me leg is in plaster but a friend raced it the other weeknd in a natural grass track moto-x and placed two 2nds a 3rd and a 4th in the open enduro class agaisnt 450,s .:thewave:
cant wait to ride it myself now .

I just picked up an 03 DRZ 400S last weekend...been on it after work every night except tonite lol..

I sold one about a year and a half ago that was everything Suzuki SHOULD have made that bike to be.

Dude came all the way from PA to get it and is happier than hell with it.

I'm happy it's gone and I have an orange bike sitting in it's place.

went and watched my bike been raced today . first time ive seen it ridden . looks like to goes good wonting to ride it even more now dam this leg in a cast getting in the way off fun :spank:

your gonna love that shock. I had one on the black bike above and it was a night and day difference.

thanks wolf i got it at a really good price so it was too good a deal to turn down . im going to be sending the forks and the shock away soon and get them revalved and set up for my weight and rideing style . i think this wee trail bike sould be pretty good as a do all bike , some cross crounty and the odd moto .
who said a trail bike cant do everything . saki :spankme:
