Drying time for hydroturf/contact cement

I just turfed my ski, and I want to ride. I turfed it starting two days ago and finished today. Is it alright to ride tomorrow?

i think 24 hrs is the rule, check your contact cement

ok, I thought on the can it said like 3-4 hours. I could wait another day, but i've been waiting 6 months to ride this damn thing! lol

you should be safe after 24 hours, probably before that even

ive turfed 2 skis, always finished the night before i rode, went to bed and went out the next day with no problems. how long did you let the cement set up before you applied turf to ski? if you put it on really thick it will take more time to set up. i always do 2 thin coats on the turf, 15 min between coats, then 15 minutes after second coat put the turf on the ski. it sticks to the cement on the ski as soon as i put the turf on and wont slide or move at all. personally i think 8-12 hours is plenty of time after laying the turf.

The glue should be dry when you put the turf on so I would ride it immediately without worrying about it.

You've probably waited long enough come tomorrow. I turfed mine in the evening and went out the next day, no problems yet (2 months ago).
