Driveline alignment

So I’m putting my 650 back together. Siliconed the pump in and torqued it down with the drive shaft loosely in place. Then I took the mid bearing out and drive shaft out. Siliconed the mid bearing and loosely installed it, dropped the motor in and moved the mid bearing/driveshaft so it lined up with the motor. Torqued everything down and it seems good. Just want to make sure that’s the correct process. Been doing a lot of reading and people say these are meant to be a “flexible” drive system in terms of shimming. Everything turns smooth
