Super Jet Door handle mod

Found this laying around the boat yard when i was thinking about doing hood straps and a pole limiter. Thought some of you guys might get a kick out of it. I have four large backing washers inside the firewall for strength and the OEM hood latch is still functional.

Sorry about the second and third pics, not sure why they came out upside down but you get the idea. Turf, footholds and paint are next. I'm not a big fan of the lime green, plus there is a lot of overspray and paint chips from the guy that owned it before me.

nice... good idea... kindof been wondering how to run hood straps, and i like that the hood latch still works in there too.

Its stainless steel so it shouldn't rust. It came off a yacht. Plus i'm painting it when i paint the rest of the ski.
