Does anyone have a rear sponson template?

1.25" below the bondrail, about 21" long. Adjust length if you want to use the stock bumper holes. Measure the depth of your bond rail and add that to the 1.25".

Don't go to a plastic shop. Buy cutting board at the dollar store. Cut the board in half. Mark the holes to mount to to your bond rail. Drill out the holes in both boards then use these holes to bolt them together. Draw your sponson using a straight edge and a French curve. Rough out with a jig saw. Finish by sanding. Unbolt, 2 matching sponsons.

I used fiberglass but if I did it over I would use cutting board material. Fiberglass worked, it flexed a little but the bigger problem was that it was sharp.

All of the details are listed in my build thread.
