cover buckle hard to close

'09 - Changed the factory buckle on Hood with a machined billet alum. But is super tight now to snap shut. Any suggestions? Doesn't. Seem to have any adjustment. Tks.

Live with it, adjust your front hood hooks, or return to the original buckle.

I'd be delighted! That means it's holding your hood down very tightly - good for keeping the hood on and the water out. Mine is super-tight and it makes me feel good every time I close it.

My two 09s are also super tight. One of them is actually tighter than the other. My feeling is the same. ........must be hold the thing on there pretty good.
