coffmans 61 x mani on a 62t,anyone tried this

it looks like the coffmans has a good bit of material in the top part where the seal would meet up pretty well after its grinded out to port match on the top of the port roof.not sure about the bottom part,looks a little thin,slighty diff water jackets than the fpp mani anyone ever test this out to see if it would seal long term,maybe with a new gasket and some yamabond?

If it's looking good by comparing a gasket to it I say go for it you know what you are doing. Otherwise be prepared for a 50/50 opinion split. lol JMO

x2addict ran a coffman mani on a T cylinder for awhile. never had a problem that i know of. Pretty sure the ski and engine are still going.

Is the 61X port 1/16 inch lower in the bolt pattern compare to the 62T?

about that much,the sealing surface on the bottom of gasket isnt much,but maybe 1211 or yamabond will help
