CATS question

Well hopefully ill be getting a superjet soon and if i get it soon enough, i really wanna try and put a trim system on it before i start riding.

My question is can a trim system be installed without ruining turf and stuff? Im not sure how they work, but if i returf my ski, then decide to put a trim system on it will i be ok?

Also where can i find a good how to on a CATS. The official cats thread wasnt much help other then for a parts list, but i didnt read through the whole thing.

And how does the cable get ran from the lever to the trim?

the cable goes through the firewall, like your cooling lines. Has nothing to do with turf, so your fine. Its almost like a second steering cable, follow your steering cable through your ski, and you'll understand what i mean.

thats pretty much all that is needed...other then that its just
1.) drill a hole through hull from the pump area to the firewall
2.) put a tube through the hull for the trim cable to run through it, and seal...
3.) put lever on bar, and hook up the cable on both ends :icon16:

before i did mine i thought it was gonna be hard. but it was wayyyyy easier then i expected.

Dont some companies sell trim systems? Are they better then a CATS type? As in will they be kinda like the steering system and be more sealed off and professional then a homemade type?
