Carb Adjustment screw problem???

Hey guys, haven't posted in a while, just kinda lurking around the site, but i have a problem now that neither me or my father (showmepro1200) can figure out. I have a pair of riva 48mm pro series (which are awesome carbs, love this set up), but one of the high end adjustment screws keeps screwing itself out from the carb becuase of the motor vibration. We've already stretched the spring to try and keep it form twisting itself out, but that didn't work. So all last summer after about 1 or 2 rides we would have to pull the hood and reset my adjustment screw or it would fowl my plug and bog down like a SOB. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!!!

I stretched the spring to try and add a bit of extre pressure from the needle adjuster to the carb body to try and help this problem, but it didn't work, the stretched spring was to try and help my problem, but it didn't work, so although the stretched spring didn't help, it doens't need replaced, but thanks......any ideas are appreciated....thanks mark

Exactly thats why I say get a new spring and give that a try.

Yeah, I would try replacing the oring around the screw first. When you bottom out the screw the o-ring is probably holding the spring in place keeping it from pushing against the carb body and holding the adj. screw in place.
I don't know if that made any sense.....hard to explain.
I had the same thing though.
