Blowsion Pre-Cut Hydroturf Mat for Kickers -- any good?

Hey I am planning on buying some footholds for my 07' SXR this winter and am deciding between Waterdawg REVs and Blowsion Kickers.





If I decide to go with the kickers, I plan on buying this pre-cut Hydroturf mat from Blowsion (http://www.blowsion.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=KASRUP464).





Is it any good? Is it easy to install? It says in the details that it comes with underpadding. Does anyone know the thickness of the underpadding and if it covers the ENTIRE foot tray (sides, bottom, footholds, etc) or just one part?

Oh and if you look at the site...

Under the "Layout" option, does anyone know the difference between Replace Stock Rail caps ($30) and the Fits w/ stock rail caps option? And why does the one require custom fitting?

One you pull off your rail caps the other fits like the factory turf does.

If you replace the stock rail cap you have to turf parts of the new rail caps....the caps will run you an additional $200.00. Just get 2 sheets of turf, remove the stock caps, custom cut the turf and wrap the top where you removed the rail caps(Junk)

No theres 3 options. The one for $200 is the Blowsion COMPOSITE rail caps which I'm not interested in.

I don't know the difference between the Replace Stock Rail caps ($30) and the Fits w/ stock rail caps options...


What I thought is that the Replace stock rail caps for $30 gives you a new set of stock rail caps with a groove cut on the top that enables you to fold over the pre-cut turf into it (so it the turf kind of curves over the top).

And I'm assuming the other option you leave on your original stock rail caps and cut off the part of the pre-cut mat that would've folded over the top of the rail caps a little. Thats why I thought it said requires custom fitting.


Does this sound right?
