Blown head gasket??

I was out earlier today and was noticing that it seems like more steam is coming out of the pisser than usual. It normally would spit out a little steam after shutting the engine off but now it seems to spit out about 2-3 times the normal amount.

Is there any definate way to tell if it's the head gasket? I pulled the head off and the pistons look a little too clean. FYI...That top end is 11 years old. However, I have drowned this motor 2-3 times over the last month or two so they would be cleaner than normal. I'm guessing the prior water ingestion may have caused the gasket failure but before I order a $30 gasket and pay $10 for shipping, I want to be sure...Let me know what you think.

once you pull the head, you have to install a new gasket anyway
pistons look too clean- either way rich
or leaking head gasket that you now have to replace anyway!
