coming from a background of riding blasters I finally can now pee while standing. been on the sj for 2 weeks now and am loving it. very fun and versatile ski. I think I made a great purchase

typically friends and I chase boat wakes on the river. no surf here in the Midwest. my sj currently has a skat trak 12/17 swirl impellar. I have a 9/15 hooker as well and was thinking about switching to that to see how it performs. would there be a noticeable difference? or for the sake of going through the hassle of pulling props just stick with the 12/17?

also it came with 3 ride plates. a worx with the lil d cut into it, a worx extended dominator (which was installed when I purchased the ski) and a stock plate. coming from a blaster background first thing I did was pull the extended plate and put stocker on. never ran a d cut plate so was thinking of cutting up the stocker. what plate you gurus recommend for a 175 lb rider that chases boat wakes

thanks

I have a 12/17 solas concord on my Superjet. It's a great rec ski. It hits okay on the bottom and has a nice safe 7200 wot rpm at 49mph.

I can't comment on the other prop, but if you have it, I say try it. It's a 30 minute job for free, except you will need the driveshaft tool holder.

I have a solas on my b1. Nice prop.

Just seemed like after what research I conducted it seemed with my motor setup that a 10/16 hooker would be ideal over the 9/15.

I have the tool to swap props, guess ill just sack it up and swap them out. Been workin on my skis all winter and have been getting tired of wrenching on them lol.

Oh ill be at the dells lumpy :)
