Best Thru Hull 3/8 Lines ? and where buy ?

Where can i get the right 3/8 ID or is it 3/8 OD thru hull round tubbing ?

Looking for cooling as also trim lines

I have only found one thread which they are using 3/8 ID with 0.35 wall stainless steel from McMaster but can find the exact part, any advise would be appriciated.
Also can you use Brake lines ( Napa ) or will these rust ??

Thank you

do you have an exact part number ??

Do you suggest to use the line with the thread end and then thread both ends against the hull.

44635K222 or 44635K232 but i would go with the best grade stainless you can.

sorry mcmaster is a pain in the ass to copy the link

i used unthreaded stainless and 5200 to hold the pipe on.

use the new tube you run for your stock bilge and use the two stock lines in the hull for your cooling. they hold up better when pulling the motor out and yanking on the cooling lines.

The repair outfits would be a great idea...but I am fine just finding it online and ordering them there.

So on the waterlines the OD is 3/8's and ID is 0.25 ??

i have used that part number before and it is nearly identical to the factory stuff. i still use it for the stock bilge though just because once its hooked up you never really have to remove the hose again so the 5200 will hold the stainless line in place.

So the second part number is correct for waterlines, inside diam is arround 0.375 = 3/8 ID ? I notice the brass fitting I have on exhaust manifold and head only show between 0.25-0.27 = 1/4 ID ..why is that

How abou this 8978K153 ..??

3/8" chrome coated copper toilet supply lines... Cheap at any plumbing supply, Lowes, Home Depot, ACe, etc. I have used them in many builds. Works for dual cooling line or a trim cable like the "CATS" Terry cable goes through it also.

- Cut to your desired length, bends etc.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Earl's/361/008/10002/-1- Flare it if you want that piece of mind, i say doing it the right way.

just some useful information, and my .02. Thats (basically) all you should need to run new thru-hull cooling lines. seal em up good!

jegs and im sure many other places sell alum tubing by the roll. many sizes if you want or need to go bigger

I just did my freak with pex tubing, brass fittings, and stainless crimp clamps. Then I sealed around it with 5200 then epoxy with cabosil.
