Hey everyone!

So i have Riva Power Bomb 48's on my ski with Prok arrestors / Blowsion outerwear covers. My buddy rides one of Eric Malone's old Skis and he was telling me the stock tube that bends down in the front was setup i should have, but i have no bolt holes on the top of my carburetors anymore so they will only except clamp on style filters, so what should i do?

Ya something like that would work.

This is the Air Box i was talking about 77-image2.JPG

Would that intake setup be the best for freestyle?

Apparently lots of guys are going to stock airboxes because they don't let water in like the AM ones. It makes sense to me because of the shape but is there a performance loss using stock vs aftermarket?

rue the cool factor but when you fry a very expensive engine cause i breathed in alot of wter, you have a really cool looking paperweight that costs alot of $ to fix. I learned the hard way!

That's the only reason people buy AM arrestors IMO. The stock ones keep water out, and don't break up and get sucked into your intake - what's not to love? As far as I can tell AM arrestors are all negative apart from the bling factor.

I have run K&N Pro Series cones with no outerwears for several years. Got 3-4 years on last set. If your getting that much water into your carbs then your hood system is not sealing good or you do not have a fast enough evacuation system for the bilge water.

The single OEM 44's work really well. They are a bitch to deal with when you are tuning. But once tuned, they do work very well.

I have dual 44's on my new to me 760 motor... Am I in trouble if I rebuild them? They came off a running couch still attatched, so for now I decided to leave them just as they were when I got them. I thought I would wait and see how she ran before rebuilding them. The motor from the couch also had stock exhaust. I am putting on a Protec Pipe, will I have to redo the carbs because of the new pipe set up?

mark your settings on the screws. Turn in counting the turns. Write this down. Then, turn them out 2 turns High and Low. and see.

call protec and tell them your setup, they can get you extremely close. i just put a mach 1 pipe on, gave them my setup and they told me what i would need. there setup works perfectly.
