i've always wanted to try racing.. but after trying to follow kmac around the course at lanier... i'd get SMOKED.. what class does KMAC run?

What were you riding when you tried? One of mine or something else?

If it was a Superjet, that could explain ALOT.

i heard you have to race beginner for your first race... i would consider myself decently fast, ive been riding /w a guy that races expert limited and hes moving up to pro/am superstock... hes defenitly faster than me but I'll catch him someday...

that actually makes me feel ALOT better. :cheer:

LOL  You were on a SJ setup for freestyle. That's like me trying to do flat water freestyle on my SXR :haha: Saki, you need to get together with some of those other racers down in FL and give it a go. You can do freestyle and race. Just ask BK.

All you need is one day on and SXR with some bouys and you would be hooked. Andy jumped right into the Novice class on his wifes squarenose and did great. Congrats bro

It's your call which race to enter. A lot of it depends on the race and how many people are in the Novice class that you would enter. Most races are sat and sunday. I would suggest trying beginner on sat to get the basics down and then run Novice on Sunday. But it's really what ever you feel comfortable with. Good luck :woot:

I raced beginner, got fourth the first moto because i was afraid to pass, i stayed in 4th the whole time... second moto I took the holeshot and tried really hard to go fast... I finished first about a half course in front of everyone, but I accidentally skipped a bouy so i got docked a lap, i lapped a guy though so i got 6th of 7... i think... it was fun, im going to buy an sxr
