SXR Battery dies in a week.

If I leave my SXR alone for about a week, the battery will be completely dead (it won't even make a sound). The first battery died randomly after not riding for a few weeks. So I bought a new one, installed it, rode it, and left my ski alone for a week again, but this time I unplugged the electrical connection going right to the start switch (it's a little white connector that clips on and off). However, after about a week that battery died too. So I know it's not my start switch. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas for what would cause the battery to just slowly die when not in use?

Thanks,

Ross

Mine does it too, took apart the electrical box, found water inside, replaced the starter relay and the coil thinking that was the problem, nope. I just disconnect the negative terminal for now.

to check current drain, you must disconnect pos. batt cable, then with an ammeter or multimeter hook one side to batt, then other to batt cable. i have had this problem with my truck, then you disconnect things until the drain goes away
