Bad weekend.......motor grenaded

The Groupk hammer 800sxr engine in my Envy totally grenaded on saturday. The rear con rod broke and destroyed just about everything. Even my Factory Pipe exhaust manifold is toast. I had been considering doing something different with this engine, I'm tired of buying race gas. Now I am forced to do something different. I was thinking of putting a small pin cylinder on some late cases, going for a lot of bottom end punch. Has anyone tried this combo before? What were the results? Any suggestions?

Sucks to hear. I rode the blue Impros boat a few weeks back in which it has the Group K big bore. Not to shabby
