PMC motors have a terrible, terrible reputation.

Don't know if there is anything to it, but I have never heard/read anything good about them.

I did two of the Seadoo replacement engines about two years ago,on one the front crank seal went out on the other the center seals went out,one intersting thing is that they had .75 o/s pistons in them,I don't know why these are supposed to be new engines. They did make it out of warranty ,just barely.I also installed a 650 reman in July.it lasted an hour before it blew,I was riding it when it happened.it didn't over heat,50-1 ratio premix + stock oil injection, never ran it past half throttle.I wouldn't touch these with a ten foot pole right now until the smoke clears on who is going to pick up the warranty.

Always On
I have one and it runs great I bought the 760 when it arrived it was a 62t 701 with 84mm flattop pistons? this was bored to a 760 called to ask about it and they told me they had alot of extra pistons laying around so they just built motors with them all at the time were diffrent setups anyways it's been running strong for about 2 years now but with all motors correctly follow the breakin and you'll be these have a rough breakin 1 hour idle at a dock or in a tank 10hrs at no more than 4000rpms then 10hrs varying rpm but never a constant full throttle then have at it
