Hey, its a WestCoast head, bought by RIVA Yamaha, and sold through them. Usually they average around 185 psi with 27cc domes (non-removable).

So...... is 155 psi is low for this head?? Does this mean rebuild?? Could I just replace the cylinder rings??

My gauge says 125 psi but its about 30 psi off!!

I don't see why you couldn't with some dielectric grease on the connection with shrink wrap around it.

salt water gets into everything. I was racing years ago in the surf and the water gremlins got to my electrical, I fell, when I got back to the ski, it would not make a sound, nothing........ got towed to shore, reached over and hit the button..........vroom...... Ticked me off.

normally I do not respond this way. Dude, why are you going to half ass a repair?? Your going to florida soon, you will have a chance to ride in the surf. Guess what WILL happen to you, you will go out in massive waves be having a blast then all of a sudden your ski starts sputtering....... you start to limp back to the pass but the ski dies. The waves start pounding you, the ski fills with water and sinks or the ski gets ripped from you while you are swimming it back to shore wondering how you are going to get it back to the boat launch. when it gets ripped from you and the waves start pounding it against the bottom, sand will get mixed in there and really cause more damage to your engine.

Now, ask your self, Why in the frack would you half ass something, either dig the old wires out and replace them or get a new coil.

Hell, I will go one step farther. Send me the coil and your wires plus new MSD plug caps and ends and I will do it for you for $25.00

I bought it and installed it this winter.
Bumped my 6M6 from 150 to between 170 and 175 psi.
Havent run it yet because of the cold rainy weather here.
