Pictures old!! Those were the old $15 crappy Napa ones. I drove it with those crap wires for the last two months of summer without a problem.

Thats why I dont understand why everyone is anti "cut wires back". These new Moroso Blue max wires I just got should work even better. At least they better for $95 wires!!

The head says Yamaha on it but I didnt think Yamaha world make higher compression head? Thought thats for aftermarket companies to do? Anyone know What my compression should be with this head??

I got them on ebay for $30. Came as a set of 8 wires because their made for Marine V8 engines!!

Ive patched plug wires like that, and they worked for YEARS, in fact, one of my kawi sitdowns still has a plug wire like that, and it has worked fine for a LONG time.

it looks like azz, but its cheap ( I used a discarded toyota plug wire...FREE), and works.

you cant tell when the hood is on.

I think it might have removable domes, Your either going to have to remove the head, and see the stamping on the domes, or check the compression with a guage. Still should of bought a new coil see if somody on here has a used one for sale. Try oxnard

So....what should my compression be at with this Head?? I assume it should be higher that stock??

I am going with connecting wires myself, like MOUTHFULLOFLAKE said, he did it and they held up for years!!

I will take pictures of how I do it and post them. Trust me, I am going to connect the Shizzznit outa them!!

I have no idea if its ported or dome size. All I know is that I am getting 125 psi compression in both cylinders with a crappy gauge!!

125 is way to low does the ski run good I know it will run but for rec ridding you want 170-185. I don't know a dome that compression goes that low might have a bad guage or rings
