Anyone have a 2024 F150?

My company 2021 F150 4x4 V8 that I ordered and waited months to get is no more. I was hit by a crazy rich Asian in a Tesla that blew thru a red light @ 55 mph +, striking me dead center broadsides. Bent frame, totaled. Apparently Ford is not offering the brake controller anymore, just curious if anyone has a 2024 F150 , was it at least prewired with the 7 pin trailer connector for an aftermarket controller?

Looks like the 7pin and 4 way are standard equipment.

Damn Harbor, where’d you get that!? Thanks! I’m being told by my salesman that the brake box (controller) is not available, probably because I had 6 recalls notices on mine, lol. As long as the truck is prewired for the box I guess I can use something like the Curt Echo Bluetooth controller. I just don’t want something like the Prodigy wood screwed and scotch spliced into a brand new truck, been there, done that. I just have to remember my ability tow with a $60,000 truck and trailer is now dependent on an iPhone.

I dont get this post, your truck got wrecked but you're looking for a trailer controller?

Trailer controller is nothing special, on more wire (blue) going to the trailer for the brake power from an aftermarket controller

Yeah I know about aftermarket controllers and I’ve been thru enough hacked into the wiring harness and wood screw mounted controllers, just trying to confirm what the truck actually has. I’m ok with plug and play, not interested in the Dominos pizza kid who part times at the trailer supply going at a brand new truck with his side cutters and crimp tool.

And his Dewalt with self tapping wood screws..

Here’s some work performed by the place my dealer wants to send the truck to install an “aftermarket” controller….

Yeah I agree on all that if you want it done right do it yourself nothing wrong with a prodigy controller and a proper cabling job, might take you two hours at the most

Had the Prodigy, no longer have that truck, just have the scars on my knee from banging every time I got in the truck, lol. I hate aftermarket, ironic that I’m into stand ups….

OEM trailer brake controllers weren’t even a thing until around 2010 you can mount the prodigy in some discreet places if you look carefully the reason the installer does a bad job is they get paid to get it in as quick as possible, hence the junk electrical taps, wood screws, etc
