SXR any one try one of these?

dose any one know of this crank .if this is a wiesco crank then im sure its good but i cant find much info on it is it welded? and the price scare me makes it smell of an sbt

Hot Rods is not a Wiseco crank, back when they first started they set up with Wiseco as a distributor, for some reason that deal fell through and now they do their own distributing. They are not as good as OEM but I would say better quality than SBT, I have used many of them in rebuilds and have never seen one fail thus far. The main reason I use them is because the wholesale price difference with shipping between HotRods and an SBT rebuild is only about $35.00, I get free shipping on the Hot Rods cranks.

we have one in her SXR and had it trued and welded and had hybrid bearings installed from crank works
i also ran one years ago in my SJ with 245psi, didn't have a prob

ok mmmmmm well my crank is not bad but its a old. with my new motor i dont want to around so if i have crank works rebuild my crank do they put hotrods on it? or is the rod still made by wiesco
