ADA head shell O ring

I see the part number in the tech section for the bulk Buna-n

9407K21

and it says I need 58 inches of it?

do I need the little kit to slice and glue it or what?

seems MUCH cheaper to buy these O rings in bulk than to buy the $19.99 kit

no glue. its just a single edge blade and grease.

For the shell o-ring I bought about 5ft from Mc Master Carr. I just loop it around cut to size then super glue the ends together. Worked well, I did the same thing for the Riva Head I had too.

Use grease. I never tried without glue

I use a dab of RTV at that splice with no problems.

i put a dab of yamabond over the joint before i put the head back on.
