Hello All,
I am new to 550's been riding a few summers now and learning alot. Part of the fun is wrenching.
I have a ski that didnt want to start at the end of last summer, so put it away and now getting it ready. I checked compression and realized it was only 30 psi. So I pulled the head and found a damaged piston and cylinder. I took it into a show and they need to take another full mm off to clean it up. It was at 1.00 over to start, 76mm.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where to buy 77 mm top end kit? Also, what are the clearances needed on the new bore? I also saw on Wiseco that they mentioned a crank case clean up? What does that entail and anyone have any description for me? Or will the kit give more instructions?
