Super Jet 760 from WB2 in a SN

I've been looking at putting a 760 in my 1991 SN I'm building this winter and recently found a 1996 Waveblaster 2 for sale for $400 (supposedly just needs pistons/rings).
  • Is the 64X a good candidate for a SN?
  • Could I use the wiring from the Waveblaster-64X in the SN?
  • Is $400 a good price since it includes carbs and other parts to potentially use/sell?
  • Since it needs pistons/rings and probably gaskets ($175), is this overpriced?

I've searched and haven't found great answers to these specific questions so post any helpful threads/links. Thanks!

Im doing the same thing but with a RN. The first problem will be exhaust unless you are running an a/m pipe. My plan was to keep the ski bone stock for a season and do it all at once when I had all the parts. I thought I could make a 61x superjet exhaust fit the 760 but it wont, at least not easily. So now im running a b pipe and the stock thing is out the window. People will tell you the 64x 760 electronics hurt performance, b/c of flywheel weight, and timing issues. I paid $400 for a wb2 in running condition with a recently rebuilt engine, so id try and get the price down, but hell the cases alone are worth around $200 so you wont be in bad shape.

Heres some good info on the 64x 760 engine.http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/100424-64x-Motor-Swap
