New to this forum, but have read some really good things on here so am going to give it a go!
Have a 94 750sx and have just built my first engine. All gaskets changed, block ports cleaned, exhaust ports matched and pressure tested to 10psi.
It has 1mm oversize prox pistons, pjs inlet manifold and a novi maxflow 48. It has a wet pipe (not sure of make) which utilises the stock manifold and waterbox.
Have almost finished running it in, but am starting to look at carb settings now. It has a 110l 145h and a 1.5 n&s with 65g spring. The low speed jet seems to be fine but am having issues with the high. Up to 1/3 throttle it is great, transition seems to choke the ski sometimes, other times it fluctuates and sometimes even stops.
What i would like to know is is this likely to be a pop-off issue or high jet issue? It wouldn't be so bad if it always did one thing! If i tickle the throttle it opens up after 10seconds.
