650sx help

Alright i am pulling the engine from my 650 and have two questions. First, the handlepole: i have everything off of it but how do i get the throttle and start/stop switches down the pole. The throttle is no problem, but do i have to cut the ignition switch off? the other questions is what is the best way to get the shaft out of the engine. Should i pull the impeller first, or will it just pull out? thanks

You need to either pull apart your electical box and disconnect the start/stop switch wires and pull it out of the pole the opposite way of the throttle cable, or if you don't want to pull apart the box, cut them about 6 inches from the box so you can use bullet connectors to hook it back up.
When you pull the motor, the shaft will slide ride out.

Don't cut them!!! Once t he motor is out the driveshaft will come right out.
