Hey guys, I need some Ideas on where to mount the pump and the outlet. I am keeping the siphon for now, so I was thinking of just gluing the electric pump next to it. Is a bracket better?

how do you rout the discharge hose? do you loop it up high like the stocker so that water can't come back in as easily, or just a straight shot out? pics would be cool:hail:

Thanks!

install it near the center of the hull and to the rear, it is not a bad idea to take the hose up and then down to keep water out when you are just out there bobbing around. Just get some 5200 adheasive and glue it down, sand the bottom of your hull and the bottom of the strainer........
put your thru hull fitting as hight up as you can.

Academy sports sells the Rule 500's for $15.00

But Walmart sells Attwood bilge pumps for $10-11 and you can cut off all the excess plastic to make it smaller. ATTWOOD > RULE IMHO

Cool. The pump I had lying around, so it was free:biggrin: I will sand, glue and loop. I have 5200 fast cure- is that good or should I get the regular stuff?

westcoast makes a bracket that mounts to the rear of the ski. never have to worry about it again. gordy has them at pacific jet sports for 8.00 bucks

Thanks guys, but it was glued in a week or 2 ago. The engine was already in and I didn't feel like pulling it again. It looks like the 2 will work well together, but time will tell. I ended up puting it between the motor and gas tank, next to the battery.
