650/X-2 1994 Kawasaki 650 TS stalled and will not start... Please help

I have a 93 and a 94 TS 650... Took them out to the lake today and they ran great for 2 and a half hours... then out of the blue the 1994 TS shuts off like the stop button was pressed and has not had spark since... I swaped the electronics boxes between the 2 skis and still no spark... Would that lead to having a bad stator?? (I Ohmd it out and it was within spec... ) not sure where to go from here... Please help... (I did try to check for spark with the kill switch disconnected and still no spark) Thanks in advance...

did you try replacing the spark plug?

I don't remember the wire colors right off as some are different than others but black is always ground, and the two wires that are the same color are charging system wires so check between the wire going to the CDI-COIL and the black wire on the AC voltage scale, usually you need at least 60-70VAC to make it fire.

You said you swapped out the electronics boxes - exactly which? I think you have a CDI that failed. Swap them if you can.

There is only one electrical box on a TS it contains everything except for the stator and start stop switch of course.
