1990 Superjet complete rebuild

Hello there,

I'm new to X-H20. Boris asked me to post some pics of my ski.
So here's the story of my 1990 squarenose Superjet....

I bought it completely stock in 2000 as my first ski, rode it for 4 years, got bored with it and decided to try to get the best out of it by adding some Ebay aftermarket parts instead of buying a 701.

I first added a 15/20 Skat-trak impeller, Protec CDI and K&N air filter.

After that, I decided to get more serious with this ski and stripped the hull completely, added footholds and spray painted it black metallic with Exotic Signs decals.

I needed more power so I put on a Protec Mach 1 pipe, Protec recreational head, Protec intake grate and UMI rideplate. That helped a lot but still not the best in bottom power.

I found a Protec intake manifold with dual 38mm BN carbs (the old round pump ones) and got a lot more bottom power. But the ski was still outrun on top speed, so I needed to get rid of the stock cylinder.

Found a 81mm bored and ported 6M6 cylinder with ported 6M6 cases. Ripped the pole (replaced it with an AC pole with UMI steering), but now the old BN's couldn't deliver anymore at peak RPMs. Put on a R&D intake manifold with dual stock 44mm SBN carbs and some Boyesen reeds.

It now runs 51 mph and pulls harder than any other standup I've been riding including tuned SXRs and 701s.

Now let all the haters come in here and say that a square is ugly.:Banane26:

This thing looks killer and I'm sure it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
