My stock polsris octane 2003 ride plate shattered. I've got both a jet dynamics extended and a works dominator. Which one is better? I've got the works plate on now and it feels the same as the stock composite one did.
Nope sure looks top notch. Place where I go wants 575 to replace the entire coil or 350 to do just the wires. Might as well pay 400 and have jetskisolutions redo entire box with new coil wire. Lol
I'm looking to replace my 2003 polaris octane ignition coil. The rear plug wire works then starts running funky and shocks the poop out of me when my hand gets near wire. Mess with wire and it runs right again.
Thanks all for your replies. What about PWC motors? I may use sbt for the crank as mines toast and the recommended place in Idaho wants 550 plus shipping to rebuild mine.
I'll be rebuilding it but I would still like to hear from someone who's actually bought an sbt motor. Curious if they are any good. The place I have work on my stuff said they're crap.
so i recently blew up a motor in my 1998 sxi pro that i had a top end done on. One of the rod bearings let go. I have 2 options:
1 rebuild with a new crank and pistons and head
2 buy an sbt motor.
Are sbt motors any good? Ive heard good things in the past but nothing really current. Any...
Nice. Guy in my area had an octane for sale $7000 with fresh motor and tubbies etc. If I didn't have one already i would have bought it. Looked really clean.
So I took my scored up drive shaft to a machine shop and had it sleeved. 395 dollars later and here's what I got. Beautiful job. The bearing is for the housing. I opened it up and found 2 little tiny blobs of grease. No wonder the other bearing exploded. I packed the new one with grease
