Ok, then take the 1000 back and install another 500 or just don't use one of the fittings in the hull. What kind of scupper? oneway check valve or flapper type (24/7) Mark44

I would say take back the 1000 and get another 500. If I remember correctly you have a scupper valve so you really don't even need 2 pumps. I hardly ever use my pump because of the scupper. Mark44

¾” to 1" fitting in McMaster Carr #53415K136. I think ¾” to 1 1/8” you will have to make one up or the easiest way would be getting a bilge with 3/4" outlet from Wal-Mart. Mark44

Yes, I use Neoprene/EPDM/SBR Rubber, #8694k87 from McMaster Carr. It has worked flawlessly. It is closed cell and has great density and compression characteristics for this particular use. Holds the hood real nice with no slip.:biggthumpup: Mark44
