I woulndt spend 4k on one either...... I bought my 03 w/800 miles on it for 2800....it was as new.....I sold it for 3200 "well used" :headbang: for me, kraka is right.....at a little less than 5'8" and 160 lbs it was too big and heavy....we lowered it a bit, and shaved the seat it was spot...

those TW's are on CL all the time for like 15-1600 bucks.... In person I think they actually look pretty sweet.....I thiought about trying to pick one up for the girly but she's too scared

I could have written more, but my fingers got tired! :cat40: My 450 handles pretty much as well as the DRZ did on the street....HOnestly I think the only difference woudl be within the tire choice however the 450 is WORLDS better than the DRZ in the dirt..... keep in mind, its all...

Ok here's my take..I am new to bikes but have crammed as much info into my head as possible in the past year or so.. the XR650, while having TONS of power..is a PIG..VERY HEAVY if you are going to be doing any dirt riding at all, you will regret it....I like it as a 85%street, 15% (or less)...

its fine.. then use goof off for the residue... :)

I have them in my F1-pro (aftermarket fx1).......they are a MUCHO difficult install, especially if you want them clean.. enclosed vs. non-enclosed..noone can answer that for you....but if you prefer a tradidtional foothold, go with the non-enclosed... I have done a couple of sets of holds in...

dont buy an ultra unless you are a GOOD mechanic :scared: this makes it the BEST loaner boat...... I wont loan couches to friends/family...they are waaaay too easy to go too fast and get in trouble if they want to ride, then they will be riding a standup and getting WET! ive...

you can probably jet it a bit richer and it'll run slightly cooler....
