Ya, he thought competition was a joke and went straight to doing shows many years ago. Says he never steps foot on a ski unless it to be paid.
He used to live here in Havasu in the winter time and thats when i met him many times and bought some stuff from him.
He is Jetstrokeusa over on PWCT.
lol, well my digital mic needs a battery right now, so i was using the old fashioned spinning inch one and then used a calculator to convert with /0.03937.
Nice new name and Avatar BTW!
Dunno, I just got it from DASA and they set me up with new pistons, bore, and new billet head. Its suppose to be the 2nd generation cast Lamey. it has the old DASA logo on the oval part on the cylinder.
When i was on LPW ported 62T case, ported 82mm 61x cyl. with the OEM 44's, TL, B pipe ltd. it was:
Mains 110
Pilots 117.5
2.0 needle and seat
95 gr spring 24-26 pop off pressure
When i went to 84mm on 61X with dual Brapjack 44's and same mods as above it was:
125 main
130 pilot
2.0 n/s
95 gr...
I wouldnt do it either. My last 61x cylinder was at 84mm and it was pretty thin. I just went and measured the skirt on the bottom and it was .075" or 1.90mm thick. If you were gonna do it I would only go 84.25mm and no more, even then i would be nervous.
I only live 60 miles from GroupK and...
I got my BLackjacks from Butch(Nikad).
I just remember when you got that B pipe from him that took forever to ship and the stinger was sticking out the corner of the box and that is what you said about it..
I just remembered that and i thought it was funny as I think it was referring to fat...
I used to think the same exact thing Fox.
I had OEM 44's on my big bore LPW and Paul gave jetting/pop off specs and I go them dialed in great. I thought they hit hard......
until I got the dual 44 BrapJacks and then it was a night and day difference. It turned my ski into the animal I...
Oh, so that was you. I was wondering who that was. I just got one of those the other day in my email. I dont mind. Its not like you send one every other day.
Ya, those are Waverunner III with 61x 701's. I like how he says they do 58 and 60mph adn says they are 750's..lol Those things are tanks, I parted a couple out once. He would be lucky if they hit 40mph...lol
The trailer is the nicest thing.

I run my pop off at 24 psi on my dual BrapJack 44's. Thats what Art recommended and they kick butt up and down the power scale.
Were those dual 44's you had Art setup OEM 760 44's or BrapJack 44's?
Maybe it will be like those new electric KTM MX bikes that go 30-40 minutes WFO before a recharge. That wouldnt be bad at all.
But we all know a PWC has a LOT more drag and needs way more power than any land vehicle...
