    Custom/Hybrid duplicolor paint

The paint industry has been phasing out acrylic laquer paint for 10-15 years now. Commonly refered to as "cracker laquer", but I thought it worked well considering what it was.. I used to use it a looong time ago. Reduce down with laquer thinner, spay multiple coats, dries REAL fast. Can wet...

    The Waternut Stunt hull build

Ya, OEM specs on a Superjet for that are 2-4mm or .079-.157" in. Gotta have a nice little gap for movement/flexing of the motor mounts.

Can anyone identify this part for me?

I've sold a few sets of 38 dual carbs for $150 shipped. There is nothing wrong with those Ocean Pro F/A's, they are at least worth $25 each. I would ask $150 shipped for the carbs and $25 each for the flame arrestors. Someone would/could buy the flame arrestors seperately also.

Can anyone identify this part for me?

Yam 62T intake manifold with dual 38 Mikunis. Ocean Pro Vortex flame arrestors. Worth on the used market around 150 for carbs, maybe $200 with intake and flame arrestors. They look really new.

    Time Cert question!

I was thinking the same thing, only letting the machine shop do it. Yes, that may have done it. I need to just get all nuts to be safe because some studs stick up more than others. Also here is another question: Why cant I just use bolts instead?

    Time Cert question!

Cool! Thanks for the fast reply Brian, much appreciated! I have never used time certs, but I know they are superior to heli-coils. I do have experience with heli coils and have a few different kits from the past and I would of tried to screw it back in with the tool but this heli coil was...

    Time Cert question!

I am bummed. :banghead: Its gonna be 81 today and I was going to put different domes in my DASA head this morning and go ride, but one of the studs started unscrewing and pulled up part a old heli-coil that was in my cast DASA/Lamey cylinder. :ugh2: My question is: Are the O.D. of time certs...

    are the wear rings different?

Ya, you could do that too. There is aprox. 10.50mm or 3/8" of material there in that boss. Good idea if you dont want to do some nuts. On the sit downs they thread into the pump shoe.
  19. SUPERJET-113

    are the wear rings different?

It has to be from a sit down then. Sitdown Yamahas do not have the threads. You'll have to get some nuts and put them on the backside. There is room between the pumpshoe. Ive been running one on my Superjet for a couple years now that I got from Jetmaniac.
