the newer ones are better, besides kawis don't have lanyards. i switched my old 650sx to a yamaha after it kept shorting out in the saltwater and got used to having the lanyard, now on my 750sx i think i'm going to have to do the same..

the turf was the smooth kind so i attached the wedges directly to he turf, the worked quite well. kinda ugly but the function far out weighed the form. i don't like the foot holds because of my f'ked up ankles..

i just built a 750 sx and used a 750ss driveline but the driveshafts from the ss and the 650sx were different from the 750. hope that helps some

i used to use the klotz r-50, but started getting the yamalube refills really cheap (free) so started using that instaed. the yama cetainly smokes alot more but i've noticed during teardown or any internal work the more seems well lubricated with the yamalube

o.k. i'm trying to get my ski done but having a little problem with installing hydro turf. i'm trying to install lifter wedges under the turf of the tray sides, i've managed everything else but don't really want to screw this up (as you only get one shot to make it look and fuction properly...

sounds to me like the stock bilge was disconnected. is this a stock setup? the nipple on the nozzle is for a pisser(probably came off something else). your cooling nipple is always gong to be where the most pressure is, closest to the impeller.
