I believe that the green ski was Chris Macc's Freeride ski. I think it was a 2002 sxipro with a prototype SXR bottom on it......can't remember. This had to be shot around that time.
Run the crap out of it (high speed runs and blow it out) Then change your plugs...Mine does that after a long winter....or if I ran it in salt water...(cleans all the carbon and gunk out of the pipe and waterbox)
Things coming together...........
more to come.
Camping on site is still up in the air, but if you really need to camp, and don't mind a ten minute drive, the Monkey can probably hook ya up.
(Don't know about 2010 with camping)
But only 1/2 as much...it lets in wayyyy less water. Scuppers are the best for releasing water. I have a scupper, 1100gph auto-bilge and the front hole blocked. I can bury that ski about 8 feet under and not bog.
BTW....let off the throttle when you sub. Every bit of exhaust your blowing...
Took my motor apart today...it had some serious deto on both cyllinders...I knew I had an air leak from the broken girdle stud...
No biggie, I was going to rebuild anyway! Cyllinder is fine and so are the rings and crank.
Either way, it 's getting a full rebuild and bore. :highhorse:
