    It also depends on your arm length. Im 6' 1" and have pretty long arms and go with -7.5" with a OEM RN stock pole using Xmetal short plate and straight bars. You just have to experiment. Cut 3" and go from there. You can always go more if needed.

    Other WR500 any good parts?

    Pumps are 130mm but nothing that will fit in a SJ. They came with 28mm Mikuni BN carb. I had one given to me that was a good motor, but had no spark. I sold the engine out of it for $250 on Ebay. The 500 is a Yamaha boat motor layed on its side. The flywheel is about 10-12" around!

    aftermarket start stop switch?

    Even if you clean your contacts and everything looks good, they get wore out enough that the little post that goes down in the hole will not press in far enough. Thats when I grind that post down a little so it can go in far enough again for a good contact.
