First off, the RN top deck is not "hand laid".. In the mold the top deck of a RN SJ is gel coat, then chopper gun glass/resin, then lastly they are "skinned" with one layer of weaved glass by hand. Have you ever seen the blue/red/green fiber lines that are in the fiberglass on a RN top deck...

Ok another thing i just remembered is that arent the 650's have the 2" dia exhaust hose and the 701's have the 2.25"? Did the SN 701's(94'/95') have the 2.25" dia. ex hose like the RN's have? i cant remember.. This 93 SN i have has 2" exhaust tube out the rear.

I always thought the 90-93 SN 650's had the smaller intermediate shaft housing and the 94/95 SN 701's had the larger housing like in the RN, but I bought a 93 SN a few weeks ago and it has the larger midshaft housing in it. Im thinking maybe I got a real late year 93 and they were just...

Ya, better get the details. That guy is super slow on his work and also in replying back. I called there once and left a message. It was over week later before he returned the call. Needles to say I had already gotten a crank... But I have always heard that he does great work.

X2 I have 9 months of summer and 3 months of spring/fall.

I know there is someone that is making these and i have seen them before either here or PWCT. Buts its just a adapter plate that makes it so you can put a Mikuni SBN on a Kawi Keihin manifold. I think they were selling it for $30 if i remember correctly. Anybody know who this is? TIA

Not at this moment, sorry! But we are thinking doing them again. People used to like the ones we made. The rubber we used had a thin layer of fiber sandwiched/vulcanized in between the rubber and it was better than OEM as it didnt squash out as much and lasted longer...
