I'm just going out on a limb here and say that the motor will need to be pulled, crank inspected/rebuild and trueing. Then new top end which the cylinders are nikasil.

You can't run a petroleum based oil in E-85 it just doesn't mix at all. But ester based oil well. I'm going to pick up another gallon of e-85 and try it this...
They do and the trails are great! Just no need to be out on the trails when I was having fun shredding around in snow that was 3 feet deep. The snow drifts are unbelievable.
The full "synthetic" is about $24 a gallon where I buy it from plus I get a 10% discount. They where trying to get rid of old stock so they had the price marked down to $15.

Sorry, cabin fever has really overtaken me this winter. LOL
On a side note I've used Pennzoil synthetic to break in my Ultra 680 motor this winter. Didn't notice any difference. The only reason I went with the synthetic is being that it was actually cheaper than the mineral oil.
Been loving this winter! Snow has been deep and the shredding is good! Burned through almost 30 gallons of gas yesterday in my mod triple. Snow is on average 3 feet deep. Don't need to go out on the trails when all the fun is in the fields. Too many out of state jokers overrunning the trails...
