The plugs are ¼” pipe plugs and on the inside of the hull is a piece of 101 nylon epoxied in to accept the threads for the plugs. I pull them from time to time and get about a cup of water out and when I refoamed I sealed every possible leak.

One big bucket you can grab the center section and really get a good hold. The buckets were formed with 10 oz. glass over a piece of Tupperware then cut to fit the contour of the inside of the hood then epoxied in. The hand hold section of the hood was also beefed up with a few layers of 10 oz...

This is where I put mine. I made the buckets on the inside of the hood from glass. I don’t really use the single holds closest to the tray. I have to put some holds in Katie’s hood next so I can get mine back.

Just got back from vacation and looking forward to the cabin trip should be a GREAT time. Katie's ski is up and running since last night she is ready to rock the 13/17 that she put in while I was gone. Guess she doesn’t need me.

Once again I have had John at jet ski solutions do electrical work for me and the stator rebuild he did is top notch. His attention to detail on that stator is amazing. :biggthumpup: Great work John now I need to send you my other one.

You can wait till winter it won't hurt anything just a loss of power. You can leave the exhaust and intake manifolds on during the machine process. It takes about a half hour to machine. More time in set up.

If you cut the head down and the domes down you would make that head special to that motor. You will also be reducing the o ring groove if you cut the head. The proper way to do this is to deck the cylinder. It’s only six bolts to pull and not even that depending on the girdle kit you have. Any...
