Are my 48m Full Spectrums just 46mm Mikunis that have been bored out to 48?
Can I rebuild my own? Would I use a 46mm rebuild kit?
Ed doesn't answer eMails.
So I've got the new ski apart and it's coming back together reasoonably well.
I took the Full Spectrums off last night and am thinking about rebuilding them (hence this thread here) but I found something that seems to be a running theme with the ski: really nice parts that are just trashed...
Mrs. Shonuff is due with child #1 any minute now and since IDOK isn't there, I'm not going. We optometrists travel in packs or "pods" as they are called.
I bought a ski listed as having 46mm NOVIs.
It instead has 46mm Full Spectrums.
Interesting. They're super sweet but a bitch to tune . . .
Hmmmm . . . .
:sneaky:
I'm not sure.
I love, love, love the parts but the condition they're in isn't so good.
The ski is a 1996 yet I keep running into purple paint while sanding the hull.
I will make it perfect.
Watch for the build writeup.
Is the flange permanently attached to the exhaust tube?
Do I have to remove them both as a unit?
Whomever painted this Superjet like this should have his ass removed. :banghead:
