    i have a 60 gal (i think) sears oil-less compressor. what a mistake. i had no idea itd be so damn loud. its been very dependable but it sounds like a neighborhood transformer is shorting internally. very unpleasant sound.

    it was also probably the fact that my cylinders were ported that contributed to the cracking of the cylinder casting.

    just bypass the switch by connecting the 2 wires, that are on it, together. it sounds like its wired right. you may wanna throw a fuse in there too.

    ive run both in the past and i think the riva red makes more power, but it sure is heavy. not a problem if you use a griddled head.

    what the squares lack, in my opinion, are the abundance of shorter aftermarket poles that were made for the square. this is reasonably easily fixed by adapting an aftermarket roundie pole (x-metal!) to a square. or you can mod a square pole. most of the squares on the water have stock length...

    the ada heads complete are about $300 + shipping and they protect your investment. keefer, how much is it to have pro-tec do the mods + shipping both ways + head gasket?
