why don't you guys go out of palm beach inlet? you can ride reef road! it was goin off today.. idle zone from phil foster park to the inlet is about 1/2 mi. besides when you get tired you can always cruise peanut island and check out the bikinis on the big raftup of boats.. just a thought..

i would agree with both of the above, having a similar issue myself. if none of the above help, pull the front cover loose and see if you got water inside where the stator and flywheel are. that can cause all kinds of crazyness.. also check batt. cables, make sure theyre tight

i always put yamabond 4 on the gasket for the front cover. also put plenty o grease around the starter before installing. will help save the stator and bendix from turning to $hit..

they have had thier share of cracking problems, i have seen them almost completely split, but if its just a backup/wifey's ski it should be fine. i have the same ski for the same reason, i got a scoop grate on it, thats it. i might put a finger throttle on it, thats it. i wanna keep it reliable...

i've had the best results with good old comet!! works great on both. use with los of water, good gloves, and a sponge with a 3m scrubber pad on the other side

check the line from the pump to the hull, make sure its not split or hanging off. you might not see the split so be sure to look at it throughly, i missed that one last year and it took 4 trips to the ramp to figure it out DUH!!! anyway, also try running it on the hose if water still does'nt...
