Yes, metton is not your friend, reinforce the whole hull ASAP. At least reinforce the sides and under where the handle pole mounts. If you really ride it hard it has to be done or this will happen over and over.

I have ski'ed Beaver lake about 25 years ago... Was when I lived in NE, and had a friend that had a house that was 1/2 from the lake via a trail in his backyard.. Was fun, nice lake. I used to travel and ski the Ozarks all the time when I lived in Nebraska.
