my pistons measure 73mm with my meter but i can not find 73mm pistons on any of the kawasaki 550's for any year is this wrong i bought some stock 75mm rings for them but they are the wrong shape and thats when i noticed they where also the wrong size what to do??????

I have a 92 750sx kawasaki standup everything is stock except intake but my problem is if you give it more throtle then 1/4 it dont go any faster I have adjusted the throttle all day and it dont change anything and a couple of times when adjusting the topend needle leaner it sounded out...
