He is RIDICULOUSLY meticulous......I didn't even understand half of what he was talking about with weaves and layups and composites...the man knows his stuff. My hull is SO stiff, no flex at all.
From what I've seen in Pro Rider, Bobby has been pretty busy building hulls for Kommander for racing. They did an article on an 1100 Kawasaki race ski with a Trinity hull.

...YES! They are all very very different....what you think you like, may not be what you like once you get on them... I've ridden about 14 of them. Always surprised.

UPDATED! up to 67 hulls.
Take it apart and get it welded by an aluminum welder locally....I will probably break again somewhere else. I broke 2 UMIs. One I actually broke in half. I bet I broke them 7 times total....I paid $40 each time I got it welded...switched to XMetal..no probs yet.
I break them from slamming...
Except, most superjets are waterlogged and cracked somewhere. I don't see a downside to polystyrene. If my foam in my ski ever gets wet though, going with pingpong balls for sure.
